Les Français à Cape Town…

The weekend of 11 – 13 June 2010 will see thousands descend upon our shores for the first of eight matches at the Cape Town Stadium, as the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ kicks off. France tackles Uruguay and the blue, white and red flags will be everywhere.

For the football fan, this day cannot come sooner. Especially for those who have plans to go beyond the 90 minutes of the game. There are just so many amazing experiences, only to be enjoyed in Cape Town & Western Cape, which await all fans!

However, for the Rugby Fan, this weekend too is an important one, as they get to see the Springboks take to the field at the Newlands Rugby Stadium on Saturday, 12 June 2010.  Their opponent: France.

So whether you’re a French Football Fan or a French Rugby Fan – there’s no better place to be on 11 and 12 June 2010, than in beautiful Cape Town! And with this, Cape Town & Western Cape says bienvenue to the French – we cannot wait to host you!
